The technology in school libraries has really diversified what we do in the library program. I have a qnap ts212 with 1td red drive and the same wd live tv and a buffalo ddwrt router.thats about $500 and I can’t find a fault yet.nas is only two bays but it’s a beast with multipy hd streams and bt running.
Yes you could. I personally would run them all in RAID 0. But if don’t like taking risks, then don’t do that.

probably, but there is really no need to because the storage is limited by the speed of your network, which is slower than the Hard Drive itself.
